Scope and Sequence

Framing learning as questions, we nurture wisdom, joy, and a spirit of belonging.

Children are born questioners, created with an innate sense of wonder. Anyone who has spent time with a two- or three-year-old knows how quickly the word why rises to their lips. This gift of curiosity is the spark of learning, and when we nurture it, children grow in wisdom and joy. At St. Michael’s, we believe this spirit of inquiry reflects God’s invitation to explore the world with open hearts and minds. That is why our learning goals are framed as questions—encouraging curiosity, honoring multiple perspectives, and keeping students at the center of discovery.
