The Application Process
In the classrooms, in the studio or just in the halls, kindness, trust and genuine respect abound at St. Michael's Episcopal Day School. We encourage our students to know themselves and be curious about others, and we consistently turn out graduates who succeed at their chosen middle and high schools and beyond.
We know how important it is to find a school where your family will feel at home and your child/ren will thrive. We are here to partner with you as you embark on this process.
We are currently accepting applications for Infant through 6th grade. We look forward to talking with you!

Tour
Make an appointment for a school tour. We will email you to schedule a tour after we receive your inquiry form.
Apply Online
The application will be available to you in the family portal after your tour. There is a $75.00 non-refundable application fee.
Visit
Your student/s will join us for an in-person visit during the school day. Visits may be ½ day, one full day or two full days. Infant + Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten applicants are not required to visit.
Interview
We do our best to meet with families during their tour and visit day. Occasionally an additional meeting time is needed.
Admission Decision
Admission letters are sent via email and families have two weeks to accept their offer of enrollment.

Key Admissions Dates
St. Michael's is part of the Independent Schools of St. Louis and follows its application dates and deadlines. Applications are welcome after the January 30 deadline and will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space is available following the first round of applicant decisions.- September 1: 2026/27 Admissions season opens; families are welcome to begin the Admissions process for the 2026/27 school year
- January 30: Application deadline for the 2026/27 school year
- February 8: Financial Aid application deadline for new families
- March 13: Admissions decisions shared with families
- April 3: Enrollment contracts due
