TSMSOC Admissions Information

  • Welcome to The St. Michael School Admission page. We hope that you will become better acquainted with our approach and mission by browsing our website. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will have to make. If you wish to take the next step in the admissions process, please complete the following steps.

    How to Apply
    Students: 3 years – 8th grade:

    1. Make an appointment for a school tour. It is best to tour when class is in session to observe our collaborative environment and witness children engaged in the learning process. Tours are given on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, September through November, and January through April. Please schedule a tour by emailing Lori Timmons at ltimmons@stmichaelschool.org.
    2. Complete a short inquiry form
    3. Complete and submit the online application and record release form. The application link will be emailed to you after the tour. There is a $100 application non-refundable fee.
    4.  Schedule a time for a student visit
        • Pre-Kindergarten / Junior Kindergarten:
          • The Admission Director will arrange an individual visit for each prospective student in the PreK/JK classroom from 8:30 -11:30 a.m.
        • Kindergarten:
          • Prospective student will visit for one full day in the kindergarten classroom.
        • 1st through 8th Grade:
          • Prospective student visits for two full consecutive days within the classroom of their current grade.

    4) Admissions Decisions - Admissions decisions are made in March with late admissions per the availability. The names of qualified children for whom there are no openings are placed on a waiting list. Should an opening occur, parents will be notified.

    Important Dates and Information

    Applicants for all classes must be the age specified before August 1st.

    • February 3, 2023: Financial Aid Deadline for New Families (current families due by January 15th, 2021.)
    • January 28, 2023: Applications Due
    • March 11, 2023: The TSMSOC School Admission Letters Emailed
    • April 11, 2023: Contracts and Deposits Due for Admissions Year 2023/2024
