Annual Giving: Click Here to Give Now
What is annual giving?
Annual giving is an essential investment in our school and the future of your children. Annual giving is a form of necessary financial support. It is supplemental revenue used to cover expenses. It makes up the gap between tuition income and expenses.
Does tuition cover operating expenses?
Tuition funds cover only 75% of the school’s target budget.
How are the annual gifts used?
They are used for professional development programs, book fees, computers, classroom materials, building renovations, scholarships, field trips, Smartboards, playground enhancements, new kiln, new van, science lab enhancements and a learning consultant.
Why are all families encouraged to participate?
One hundred percent family participation is essential for facilitating a state-of-the-art progressive educational program.
Who contributes to the annual giving fund?
Parents, faculty, Board of Trustees, friends, grandparents and alumni contribute to the annual giving fund.
What types of gifts are possible?
Gifts can be made in the form of cash, credit cards, stocks, corporate gift contributions, matching fund programs, gifts from foundations, planned giving, memorials and tributes. All contributions are tax deductible.
How much am I expected to contribute?
Only you can decide the contribution level that is appropriate for you and your family to donate. No amount is too small. If you are able please consider a contribution at the Dragon Level of $1,000 or more!
What are the payment options?
Payment(s) can be made monthly, quarterly or in full by check, cash, credit card, stock/securities or an electronic funds transfer. Monthly installment plans may be set up with Lori Timmons in the Business Office: Ltimmons@stmichaelschool.org.
What is the goal?
Our primary goal is 100% participation by families, faculty and Board. For the 2016-2017 school year our budget requirement is $200,000.
