Our School Day

Our School Day runs between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

ARRIVAL:

Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students - We have a drop off system that begins at 7:45 and ends at 7:55 a.m., via the carpool lane on Wydown Blvd. Please do not park in the carpool lane.

Infant + Toddler Families - Please park on Ellenwood or East Wydown and walk your child into school and to the appropriate classroom/s.

DISMISSAL/PICK-UP:

Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade students - Please join the carpool line on Wydown and pull in safely by following the line. Students will be called from their classrooms. We have staff supervising the afternoon carpool. Thank you for your patience - carpool is usually done by 3:50 p.m. Seventh and 8th grade students exit their classroom and walk to their cars independently. 

Infant + Toddler Families - Please park on Ellenwood or East Wydown and walk in to pick up your child/ren.

ABSENCE/TARDY/EARLY DISMISSAL:

Please call the school office and email your student’s homeroom teacher by 8 a.m. to report an absence. If your child is tardy, please walk them into the building to check them in at the front desk. (Parents may park for 15 minutes or less in the carpool lane outside of carpool times.) For Early Dismissal, please walk in and check out your child. Parents must be on campus in order for us to dismiss a student early.

LUNCH:

Please send your child/ren to school each day with a healthy lunch, a water bottle and two snacks.

DRESS CODE:

We are outside as often as possible, both for academics and for PE and recess. Please make sure your child arrives to school dressed to fully participate each day. Layers are essential, as are closed-toed shoes.
