Annual Giving
What is annual giving? Annual giving is an essential investment in our school and the future of your children. Annual giving is a form of voluntary financial support. It is supplemental revenue used to cover expenses. It makes up the gap between tuition income and expenses. It is mandatory for all parents to contribute to the Annual Giving Fund in order to balance our budget.
Does tuition cover operating expenses? Tuition funds cover only 90% of the school’s operating budget.
How are the annual gifts used? They are used for professional development programs, books, computers, classroom materials, building renovations and other operating expenses.
Why are all families encouraged to participate? One hundred percent family participation is essential for balancing the school’s budget.
Who contributes to the annual giving fund? Parents, faculty, Board of Trustees, friends, grandparents and alumni contribute to the annual giving fund.
What type of gifts are possible? Gifts can be made in the form of cash, stocks, corporate gift contributions, matching fund programs, gifts from foundations, planned giving, memorials and tributes. Contributions are tax deductible.
How much am I expected to contribute? Only you can decide the contribution level that is appropriate for you and your family to donate. Please consider a contribution level of $1,500 or more!
What are the payment options? Payment can be by check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or an electronic funds transfer. Monthly installment plans may be set up via FACTS Management Company which will schedule automatic withdrawals from your checking or savings account.
We encourage you to give in one of the following categories:

What is the goal? Our primary goal is 100% participation by families, faculty and Board. Our budget requires us to raise a minimum of $110,000 for the 2009-2010 school year.
