JK Symphony Fabric Print-3.10.10-Schwall

Last week, the JK children made drawings about the music they heard at the symphony.  The children expressed many ideas through their drawings, such as: loud & quiet, music can tell a story with characters, and sounds can sometimes be represented in visual forms.  This week, Lynsey and the students have been using these drawings to create a collaborative fabric print.  One print from each student is being used to compose a large pattern, each expressing something unique about sound.- Schwall
