Today during rehearsal Chloe (center) from MICDS helped 6th graders Lexi and Lindsay with costumes for the 6th grade play “The Wind Pearl.” Chloe will be going to film and theater school and has been a tremendous help with costumes and props. We are also very thankful to Carolyn Hood (an SMSOC parent and theater director at MICDS) for lending us beautiful costumes - THANK YOU MICDS!
JK and KG students recently created a mural of the heavens, planets, and outer space. The children listened to story books about the sun and the moon (made by previous SMSOC students) for inspiration, as well as incorporated their own imaginative ideas. - Schwall
In small groups, the students are making homemade playdoh with Ms. Lucy. The students enjoyed mixing the ingredients together to make red and purple playdoh!
