5.15.12 More 4th Graders Act Out A Play Written By A Classmate!

Victoria, Maya, and Avi play the roles of Princess Sheeta and her two servants in this photo from performing arts class today. Students get excited about playing a role and therefore are motivated to understand the words of their character. Also, the fact that a student spontaneously wrote a play, and felt comfortable and skilled enough to do so, means that her language arts teacher has successfully created an environment in which students want to write and are able to write.
