Drama is a powerful way to support creative writing, reading comprehension, and other language arts.

The third grade recently completed a collaborative study of warm and cool colors. Students were introduced to the color groupings of warm (yellow, red, orange) and cool (blue, green, violet), and began to use color as a constructive visual element. Groups created yarn paintings that contrast warm and cool color groupings, and created a geometric pattern of warm and cool. - Schwall

I hope you all enjoyed your special gifts from your child. One student brought it to our attention that “most moms don’t read books, they have a kindle.” So if this is the case I hope you find another use for your special bookmark!
I can’t believe summer is only a few weeks away! With the warmer weather in the next few weeks there might be days that we get out a sprinkler or hose for some water fun! Please be sure your child has extra clothes in their cubby.(NO need for bathing suits)
We are still deciding on the date for our class party but I will email those details as soon as we decide.
TOMORROW 5/15 WE WILL BE TYE DYING T-SHIRTS!! PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD IN CLOTHES THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET MESSY!! We will try our best to stay clean but accidents can happen
