4-29-12 First Grade News and Notes

One of my favorite “holidays” is up and coming… Cinco de Mayo.  I’m sure the kiddos will find this one very fun and entertaining this week as Senora House has many “cinco” activities planned. These activities will include, a Mexican Folklore on May 2 and a Cince de Mayo pinata party on May 3…. no tequila at these events.

Speaking of holidays, the kids have been super busy inventing and writing about their own holidays in which they will present to you the last week of school (May 30 I think), so mark your calendars.

FYI, we will be administering the OLSAT Ability Test on Wednesday Morning.  This is just a short, simple, ability test.  Make sure to get plenty of zzzzz’s the night before.

India is our Shining Star and Bryce is our Super Scientist of the week:)
