Families,
I think it’s always nice for parents to see how a typical day goes. Yesterday, our math group paired up as “teachers” and “students” and mentored each other on their multiplication. Later in the day, Victoria decided to run my fourth grade literature circle group. Our goal as teachers and parents is to guide them to assist each other and to lead. The level at which many of our children collaborate is outstanding at SMSOC and it is because we try to provide these opportunities for them to be comfortable leading and also working together.
