2-20-12 First Grade News and Notes

What an exciting weekend… at least for my oldest, Molly.  Her first flight alone, traveling to Tampa.   While in Tampa, she visited the real “Winter” from Dolphin Tale, Hard Rock Cafe, horse back riding and of course “beach time”.

Back in St. Louie, we attended my youngest, Kate’s first Art Opening at the SOHA Gallery.  She had a piece on display this weekend, at the Young Artist Show, titled “Rainbow” priced at just $5.00… Steve was sure to get the sold “star” on it right away.  We ended our weekend with a trip to the City Museum.  Boy, you have to be pretty skinny to fit through those twist and turning tunnels and slides.  I felt like I was going to be stuck more than once… LOL.

Right now however, is the best part of the weekend.  Having both girls home safe and sound, in their own beds… SLEEPING:)
